Drink Different.
You might just start thinking different too.

A grounded, observational spot with Sophia Esparanza. Morning light, quiet moments, no performance for camera — just a day in her life, and the thesis that creativity is a state of mind available to anyone whose mind is clear enough to access it.

01 · OpenMacro — MUD\WTR scooped into a mug, hot water poured, steam. Morning light through a window. Slow, unhurried cuts that match the rhythm of the VO.
"With the same caffeine as a cup of tea. L-theanine. Functional mushrooms. Prebiotics. Organic ingredients."
02Sophia in her kitchen, hands around a warm mug. Looking out, not at us. A slow first sip.
"I start my mornings feeling more creative."
03Cut — a kitchen counter corner with craft supplies, paint tubes, glue. Just the objects. No Sophia in frame.
"Not in an arts and crafts kinda way."
04Sophia in profile, soft light on her face. Quiet.
"Creativity as in a state of mind."
05Her bare feet on wood floor. Steady.
"Feeling grounded."
06Sophia at a desk, writing in a notebook. Unhurried.
"Clear enough to hear my ideas — and courageous enough to express them."
07She sets the pen down. A beat of stillness.
"Yes."
08 · MontageObservational cuts — Sophia dancing (reference), a brush on canvas, fingers on guitar strings, handwritten lines on a page.
"That can look like a dancer, a painter, a musician, a poet."
09Back to Sophia. Small, private smile — to herself, not the lens.
"I try."
10Backyard. She opens the chicken coop. Chickens wander out around her feet.
"It's also buying a chicken coop."
11Sophia questioning, examining — her hands on a leaf, a seam, the weave of a fabric. (Pulls from her process reel.)
"It can look like asking why things are the way they are…"
12Her botanical dye process — fabric in a pot of natural dye, plant-stained fingertips, a cotton piece pulled from the pot, hung to dry in sunlight. (See process reel.)
"…and making botanically dyed organic clothing I want to wear instead."
13 · CarrotRecreate this Instagram reel — Sophia and her husband outside, mimicking the shapes of carrots.
"…or playing with your food."
14 · ThesisBack to Sophia with her mug. Window light. A slow breath.
"Creativity is a state of mind available to anyone whose mind is clear, grounded, and free enough to access it."
15Hero product shot — MUD\WTR pouring into the mug.
"So drink different."
16 · CloseSophia mid-sip, looking out the window. Hold on the quiet.
"You might just start thinking different too."

The feel

  • No performance for camera. Every eyeline is off-lens — out a window, down at her hands, to her husband, to herself. Feels like a film someone made about her day, not an ad she's in.
  • Product callouts, two options. Front-loaded in the open (as drafted) reads more traditional spot. Sprinkled throughout as kinetic text during B-roll beats leans more filmic and less ad-y. Lean sprinkled if you want the VO to breathe.
  • The carrot beat is the release valve. Everything up to it is quiet and considered; the IG moment is the one laugh. Keep it 1.5s max so the thesis line that follows lands with weight.
  • Color and light. Warm natural daylight, muted earth tones in wardrobe and props, organic textures. No studio lighting, no stylized grade — it should look like it could have been filmed on her actual Tuesday morning.
